From a real friendship to a whole world
Mom’s original books
Photographs of the handmade construction-paper books, shown complete and uncropped.
The beginning
A real rescue turkey
Tommy was a real rescue turkey who came to live on Grandma Puff's farm. He became her best friend and followed her everywhere she went.
The friendship
Wherever Grandma Puff went
Tommy and Grandma Puff were inseparable. Their real-life friendship — a turkey and her person — became the spark for everything that followed.
The stories & drawings
Grandma Puff puts pen to paper

Those stories and drawings became the foundation for the Tommy Turkey family entertainment universe being brought to life today — for families everywhere.
